Story – In the Park
Read the Story 
Today is Monday.
It is a hot
and sunny day.
Gus is swimming
in the lake.
He is wearing
a yellow swimming cap,
swimming goggles
and a bathing suit.
He swims
in the lake
on Mondays
and Wednesdays.
The lake
is in the park.
The water
is clean and blue.
Gus doesn’t like
running in the park
because
it is too hot.
He likes swimming
in the lake
because it is nice
and cool.
There are
some fish
in the lake.
A big yellow
and red fish
jumps out of
the water
next to Gus.
Gus feels happy. There are also
many trees
and beautiful flowers
in the park.
The grass
is short
and green.
The leaves
on the trees
are green, too.
A man
is walking his dog
next to
the lake.
