Max the monkey.
A little monkey lived in the jungle.
His name was Max.
One day, he ran far away from the other monkeys and played in the tall trees.
When he wanted to go home,
he couldn’t find his home.
Max walked and walked.
He saw a horse, a cow and a goat.
Max asked them,
“Did you see my family and friends ?”
They said,
“There are no monkeys on the farm.”
The farmer gave Max
some bananas to eat.
That night, Max slept
in a tree on the farm.
The next day, he went away.
He walked and walked.
Then he saw a squirrel.
He asked the squirrel,
“Did you see my family
and friends ?”
The squirrel said,

are not in the forest.”
