It is used at the end of a question :

Exclamation mark  :

It is used at the end of an exclamation :

a. Look ! There’s a helicopter !

b. Don’t go outside !

c. Happy New Year !

They are used for the first letters of names and at the beginning of sentences and questions :

b.  Maggie and Emma are in Taipei.
